Trdelník dough recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1,000 g plain flour
  • 20 g KORENT EUROPE RSPO-SG
  • 80 g sugar
  • 20 g salt
  • 40 g fresh yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 g melted butter
  • 450–500 ml milk

Method:

  1. Crumble the yeast into lukewarm milk and add a little sugar.
  2. Leave the starter to activate.
  3. Mix the flour, KORENT EUROPE RSPO-SG, sugar and salt.
  4. Add the eggs, starter and melted butter.
  5. Knead into a smooth, elastic dough.
  6. Leave to prove for about 60 minutes.
  7. Roll out the dough, cut into strips and wrap around trdelník cylinders.
  8. Brush with butter and coat in cinnamon sugar.
  9. Bake at 180–200 °C until golden.
