Basic fondant paste 5 kg pack
Instructions: heat fondant slowly, for example over a pan of simmering water, to a temperature of 40 °C. Use 40 ml of water or sugar solution per 1 kg of fondant. When working with fondant the temperature should not exceed 40 °C, higher temperatures lead to undesirable damage of its microcrystalline structure and to its quality worsening.
Basic fondant paste is ideal for sugar icing on desserts, cream puffs, cream rings or punsch cakes. It is also suitable as a base for long lasting buttercream. It holds shape well, it is soft and it does not drip.
Home-made covering paste recipe
- 400 g icing sugar
- 400 g powdered milk
- 400 g basic fondant paste
- 50 g fat
- 100 g glucose
- Vanilla sugar for flavouring and essence to your liking and taste (for example almond essence)
- water as needed (add gradually)
- heat the fondant either over a pan of simmering water or in a microwave oven and mixed with powdery substances, add water carefully

Carefully pack the parcel together with the completed form to prevent any damage during transport, and contact us by email at eshop@svetcukraru.cz or call us on business days between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM at +420 555 222 801.
We will send you a return shipping label by email. Attach it to the parcel and bring it to your nearest pickup point. You can find the list of pickup points here. Simply hand over the parcel with the attached label, and we will arrange transportation to our central warehouse at our expense.
Once we receive the goods (usually within one week), we will either send you replacement goods or refund the money to the bank account specified in the form you submitted.
