• 1 egg yolk

Then create a small indentation in the beehive, fill it with cream, and cover it with a ladyfinger (or a baked round from shortcrust pastry). Once the beehive is finished, turn it out onto a flat surface, preferably onto a pastry board, and let it chill in the refrigerator. To ensure the dough does not stick to the mold and is easy to remove, lightly coat each piece of dough in powdered sugar, and there's no need to grease or flour the molds.
