Coloured red fondant for coating and modelling. Sugar paste hardens after use but does not crack.
FunCakes sugar paste with a delicious vanilla flavour, very elastic, smooth and easy to use thanks to its fine texture. The fondant is soft, pliable and completely solidifies after processing.
Fire Red fondant has a beautiful bright red colour and a delicious vanilla flavour. It is perfect for coating cakes and cutting out shapes. Before using, knead the dough well and roll it in a thin layer of icing sugar. Sugar paste can also be used for modelling or creating different shapes and patterns. It is also suitable for colouring with food colours.
For best results, let the fondant rest (covered) for an hour after dyeing. Knead the fondant again before further processing. You will need approximately 500 g of fondant to cover a round cake with a diameter of 20 cm.
Due to its satin finish, FunCakes fondant is ideal for coating cakes. If you want to cut shapes out of the fondant, you are sure to get neat, clean and sharp cut-outs.
Sugar paste is also suitable for creating decorations, you can easily model or create different shapes and patterns.
Store in a dry and dark place at 15 °C - 20 °C.
For best results, the following procedure is recommended:
- Allow the sugar paste to cool to ambient temperature.
- Knead the sugar paste firmly until smooth and elastic.
- Dust the work surface with a little icing sugar and roll out the fondant with a rolling pin into an even shape (2-3 mm thick). Always turn the fondant a quarter of the way round so it doesn't stick.
- After rolling out the fondant, are small cracks still visible on the edges? Knead firmly again until the edges are smooth when rolled out. Then the fondant is ready to use.
This product is certified halal, kosher and gluten-free (NL-090-020). FunCakes fondant is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
