Fine old gold sugar sprinkles with a hard texture, intended for confectionery decorating. The tiny sugar balls are characterised by a crunchy texture and a slightly shiny surface. They are produced on a sugar base, which ensures a long shelf life and a versatile sweet taste that does not alter the taste of the decorated products. Only dyes that are completely safe for consumption are used for colouring.
Sprinkles have the ability to absorb moisture and should therefore be stored in tightly sealed containers. Food colours used in sprinkles are sensitive to sunlight, which can cause them to fade. Therefore, storage conditions are very important to maintain the colour and consistency of the sprinkles.
Fine sugar sprinkles have versatile uses and are suitable for any occasion. It will be ideal for decorating: cookies, gingerbread, cupcakes, muffins, cakes, pastries, cake pops, pralines, truffles, chocolate, ice cream and many other sweet products (especially those with creams and toppings).
If coloured sprinkles are added as an ingredient to the dough, the colours can penetrate to a considerable extent into the baked goods (e.g. sponge or shortcrust pastry). Sprinkles have limited colour stability when used to decorate frozen products (including ice cream).

Storage conditions: store in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed container; protect from direct sunlight (which may cause colour fading) and foreign odours; optimum storage temperature is 15-25 °C, maximum relative humidity 65 %.
