Sweet white chocolate scented with vanilla. No flavourings or essences. But grains of real vanilla. Add a pinch of Himalayan salt and you get a bar that smells, slowly melts on the tongue and connects all the flavours on it.
Why did we try white chocolate and Himalayan salt? Himalayan salt is a type of salt that is mined from underground salt veins in the Kabul region of the Himalayas in Pakistan. Himalayan salt is often praised for its high mineral content and for its unique appearance, which ranges from pink to deep red in colour. Himalayan salt is used as a table salt and is also used as a medicinal product. Some people claim that Himalayan salt has a number of health benefits, including the ability to regulate blood pressure, promote digestion and improve sleep. However, most of these claims have not been sufficiently scientifically verified and further research is needed to assess their veracity. In the case of white chocolate with this salt, we don't really care; we don't have this treat to be healthier, we have it to make ourselves feel good.
